The Insider album is an Electro Swing compilation of original songs about overcoming biased perceptions, the power of kindness and love, innovation, perseverance, and reaching for the stars!
The theme song, Insider Threat, is a homage to women innovators from all races worldwide, who overcame discrimination, bias, harassment and abuse, resulting in huge scientific breakthroughs and contributions to the human race.
I am in the process of completing and recording the songs for the album and developing a companion documentary.
More details to come!
Insider Threat Lyrics
Spoken:
I sleep on a bean bag and shower in the dark
Made a vision board while camping alone in a park
Dance to Celtic music every year on Paddy's Day
Built castles to the whisper of honey bees,
Singing the night away
Some call it cooky and downright spooky
That I sit by the lake in the dead of the night
..and dream of Singing on cruise ships,
Inventing novel gizmos in the pale moonlight
Ask too many questions, dream too many dreams
Awaken the Kraken, Medusa are you listening?
[Mahna Mahna Full Song Sample]
Verse 1
On my island of misfit toys, Carlotta-in-the-box is Queen
Rocked the boat, couldn't stay afloat
When 1,000 copper soldiers
Tried to steal her dream
From the ash she took to flight,
And landed on a shooting star
Pop went the weasel and a music box
Worth a million at life's bazaar
Chorus
Insider (Threat), Ghost Rider
Dancin' to the beat of a different drum
Sojourner on the chopping block
Tweedledee, Tweedledum
Zig Zag, a patchwork journey
Bucking the trend as they swim upstream
Baanbreker, gutsy risk taker
Gliding on a loonshot, moonshot beam
Manamana, Manamana
Ba Da Da Pa
Manamana, Manamana
Ba Da Da Pa
Manamana, Manamana
Ba Da Da Pa
Watch your back, walk away, or get with it
Verse 2
Climb the ladder too fast or shine too bright
A bullseye you'll become
Crabs in a bucket of muck and mire
Will drag your name in the mud
Fem Sojourners, heads up high
Don't let haters ebb your flow
Keep moving forward through the looking glass
Triple threat insider unknown unknown
